About

Hi, I'm Michael Lynch, founder of TinyPilot.

I'm a software developer and worked most of my career at Microsoft and Google, but I quit in 2018 to found a company of my own.

I've maintained servers for years, but I was always frustrated at the available remote management solutions. Dell's iDRAC and HP's iLO have restrictive, expensive licenses. Enterprise KVMs have price tags starting at $1k, and they ran buggy, Java-based software.

After months of experimentation, I found a way to create low-cost, easy to use KVM over IP devices. I began selling TinyPilot devices to customers in July 2020, and I've focused on improving the product ever since.
