What's New in TinyPilot's March 2025 Update
March 20, 2025
TinyPilot's March release allows you to execute custom scripts directly from the web interface, manage your TinyPilot Pro license, and enjoy peace of mind with a new TinyPilot warranty.
Execute scripts from the web interface
This month's TinyPilot Pro release introduces a new scripts feature that lets you run scripts locally on your TinyPilot device directly from the web interface with just a couple of clicks, saving you time and eliminating repetitive tasks.
We've also updated our convenience scripts - like our mouse jiggler - to take advantage of TinyPilot's scripts feature, so you save more time managing your device.
If you're an advanced user, you can create your own scripts and add them to your TinyPilot's user script directory. We're excited to see how you take advantage of the new scripts feature to customize your workflow and automate tasks!
For more on using TinyPilot's scripts, see our Scripts FAQ.
A smarter license management system
Your TinyPilot Pro software requires an active license to receive new updates like this month's TinyPilot Pro release. However, the basic license management system made it unclear whether your license was active or if it had expired.
TinyPilot's updated license management system gives you more transparency and control over your TinyPilot Pro license. The new dedicated license dialog makes it easy to attach your license key to your device, view your license status, and ensure you can receive all the TinyPilot Pro updates you're entitled to.
The smarter license management system also allows us to offer you additional benefits beyond TinyPilot Pro software updates, such as the ability to extend your TinyPilot's warranty when you maintain your TinyPilot Pro license.
Read our license management FAQ for more details on managing your TinyPilot Pro license.
A new 12-month TinyPilot warranty
Every TinyPilot Voyager device we've sold since November 18, 2024 has included a new 12-month limited warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
You can extend your TinyPilot's warranty beyond 12 months by maintaining a valid TinyPilot Pro license, up to a maximum of 5 years from the original purchase date.
Our new warranty reflects our investment in product quality and support, giving you even more confidence in your device and allowing you to focus on your work.
For full details of the new TinyPilot warranty, please read the TinyPilot Warranty page.
