12-Month Limited Warranty for TinyPilot Voyager Devices

This warranty is provided by TinyPilot, LLC to the original purchaser of TinyPilot Voyager devices ("the Product"). The warranty covers the Product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for warranty service.

Coverage

  1. Warranty period: The warranty is valid for 12 months from the original date of purchase.
  2. What is covered:
    • Defects in materials and workmanship.
    • Faults arising from normal usage within the intended operating parameters of the Product.
  3. What is not covered:
    • Damage caused by misuse, abuse, or neglect.
    • Improper installation, unauthorized modifications, or unauthorized repairs.
    • Damage resulting from accidents, fire, flood, or other natural events.
    • Cosmetic issues, such as scratches, dents, or normal wear and tear.
    • Damage caused by power surges, improper electrical connections, or harsh environmental factors.
    • Products with altered or removed serial numbers.

Remedies

If a defect arises during the warranty period and TinyPilot receives a valid claim, TinyPilot may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the Product using new or refurbished parts; or
  • Replace the Product with a new or refurbished product of equal or greater functionality; or
  • Refund the purchase price.

Any repaired or replaced Product will be covered under this warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period or 90 days from the repair/replacement date, whichever is longer.

Advance replacement

TinyPilot may offer advance replacement when our Support team determines—after basic diagnostics—that a replacement is the appropriate next step.

When advance replacement is offered:

  • A replacement unit is shipped before the original unit is received.
  • A prepaid return label is provided for the original unit.
  • The original unit should be returned within 14 days of receiving the replacement.
  • If the original unit is not returned, TinyPilot may charge the current retail price of the replacement unit.

How to obtain service

  1. Contact TinyPilot at warranty@tinypilotkvm.com to report the issue.
  2. Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the defect.
  3. Follow any diagnostic or return instructions provided by our Support team. (Shipping costs may apply for items sent to a service center.)

Limitations and exclusions

  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.
  • No other warranties, express or implied (including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) are applicable except where prohibited by law.
  • TinyPilot, LLC is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Product.
  • The total warranty period (including any extensions purchased through TinyPilot Extended Warranty & Support) may not exceed 5 years from the date of original purchase.

Additional terms

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusions of damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
